COVID Update - March 3rd, 2021

Minnesota Hockey today announced its guidance for Phase 6, which will go into effect TODAY Key highlights of Phase 6 include:

  • One spectator per player may be allowed at practices but should still be limited as much as possible. 
  • A maximum of two spectators per player with exceptions for parents or guardians who must bring in young children.
  • Three coaches will be allowed on the bench during games
  • Locker Rooms will be used starting January 14th.  They will be used for every other hour.  The other hour the benches / chairs will be used to allow staff to sanitize.

The following rules still apply:

  • Face coverings are required at all times, including practices and games.  This requirement includes players for on-ice activities.
  • Pod sizes for practice are 25 with two allowed on the rink at the same time.
  • Players should arrive fully dressed.  Goalies should arrive half-dressed.
  • No bags are allowed in the arena with the exception of goalies.
  • Players must not enter the arena prior to 10 minutes before the start of their scheduled ice time. They must exit arena no later than 10 minutes following the conclusion of their ice time.
  • No Dryland / Pre game off ice warm up will be allowed.

The Forest Lake Sports Center, owned and operated by the Forest Lake School District, welcomed its first skaters Oct. 1, 2008, adding much-needed skating capacity in the North Metro.  We have one year-round ice sheet, Lichtscheidl Arena, and a fabric-covered Field House with refrigerated ice from September to May.  The Forest Lake Sports Center is home to the Forest Lake Rangers High School Boys and Girls hockey teams, and the Forest Lake Hockey Association.

Training Room / Meeting Rooms - $ 60.00/ hr + tax = $ 64.28

Skating Lessons & Intro To Hockey

The Forest Lake Sports Center will be offering skating lessons along with Intro to Hockey for the 2020 - 2021 Season.  The registration for Skating Lessons and Intro to Hockey will be processed through Forest Lake Community Education.
