Growing up, Jenny played tennis for Brainerd Senior High and taught tennis lessons in the summers along side her mom, a USPTA pro, at Grand View Lodge. She went on to play D2 tennis at UMD and holds the highest career win percentage in doubles. During her college summers she was an instructor at Tennis and Life Camps, where she was mentored by Steve Wilkinson and developed her passion for teaching technical tennis skills. She loves spending time with her husband and two kids and is passionate about travel, mountain biking, snowboarding, lifting, and pickleball.

My name is Rachel Shields, Junior Varsity coach for the 2023 season. I am married to my husband, Brian, and we have two beautiful little boys, Elijah and Theodore. I grew up in Forest Lake, so it is a joy to be back "home," especially coaching the sport I played through my high school and college years! I am excited for this season, and I can't wait to see happens!
