All-Conference Honors and Honorable Mention
Varsity Players earn 5 points for each match won against conference teams.
Players earn an additional point for the position they play in the match:
1 Singles=5 points 1 Doubles=4 points
2 Singles=4 points 2 Doubles=2 points
3 Singles=3 points 3 Doubles=1 points
4 Singles=2 points
The conference generally honors 28 All-Conference Players. Players who earn 50 or more points have a good opportunity to earn all-conference honors, but this isn't always the case.
All-Conference Honorable Mention is more subjective and generally based on coaches' decision.

Tennis has 2 separate state tournaments. One recognizes the best teams in the state and one recognizes the best individual/doubles players in the state.
Every school competes for the state tennis tournament in team and individual play. At the end of the season, teams are seeded into their section tournament based on their section record. The top team from each section goes to the state tournament.
Each school also sends a #1 and #2 singles and #1 and #2 Doubles teams to the individual section tournament to determine state tournament participants in the individual tournament. Section competitors are chosen by coaches.
Section tournaments dates are announced in the middle/end of the tennis season.
