On Hill Practices: The team practices at Wild Mountain Mon, Tues, and Thurs. Practice starts at 4 and goes till 6.
Where and when do we race?
We have 5 conference races throughout the season. These races are held at either Wild Mountain or Afton Alps. Races start at 5pm. In addition to the 5 conference races, we also have a sections race held at Giants Ridge.
In years past we have even participated in invitationals (Invites) for extra race practice. These have included the Wild Mountain Invite, Afton Alps Invite, and the MLK Invite @ Giants Ridge.
Do I need a season pass at Wild Mountain?
Yes, you will need a full season pass. If you have questions on purchasing one, email coach Trevor Pinewski.
What gear do I need?
To participate on the team you need a helmet, goggles, skis, boots, and poles.
We also highly recommend athletes to have a good winter coat, snow pants, gloves, and base layers. We practice outside during the winter, it gets cold.
