Summer Training
Rangers Competitive Tennis Camp
Boys & Girls Entering Grades 7-12
This camp will cover all aspects of the game from technical to tactical. Each day will consist of a new theme (grips, footwork, offense/defense, singles/doubles strategy and sportsmanship), proper technique and grips for a variety of strokes like groundstrokes (underspin/topspin), volleys, lobs, overheads, approach shots, serves, returns, blocks and drop shots. Coaches will use a mix of closed and open drills, allowing for students to improve strokes and apply what they’ve learned through play. Games, competitive play, and skits round out this camp to ensure it’s a fun time for all! Participants should wear sport appropriate clothing and shoes, bring two nut/peanut free snacks, sunscreen and a bottle of water every day.

Tennis Clinics Grades 7-12
Similar to our Competitive Tennis Camp, this 8-week camp will continue to work on all aspects of the game from technical to tactical. Summer Rally for the Rangers Tournament Planning
Together with the girls tennis boosters, we have held a 1 day FUNdraiser tennis tournament on August 10th. This event is a great way for the community to come together and play tennis--doubles teams of all ages and genders and skills mix it up on the courts for fun and help us raise $1000+ for the program.
We are looking for volunteers to partner with the girls boosters to put on this event. In the past, there has been 1 in-person planning meeting to determine roles and responsibilities and the rest of the work is done via email. We have successfully put on this event for 4 years so we have very detailed notes on what needs to be done--but we need people to step in and make it happen.

Transportation Release
If your son will not be riding the bus back to school after a match, you must sign the release form and give it to the coach.
